A special welcome to students and staff who will commence study and work in the Autumn of 2010. We are a Masonic Lodge founded in 1950 for students and staff of Southampton University. We extend to both potential members of Freemasonry and members of other Lodges who are away from their home – especially because of university commitments – the benefits of either joining, or of visiting, a very friendly ‘host’ where you can start or, continue to enjoy, your membership of the Craft.

We are also on the way to being a Receptor Lodge for members from other University Lodges.

Further we take great pride in the fact that our members include men from many trades and professions and ethnic groups, or what may be called ‘The University of Life’ as we are not solely an 'academic Lodge'  The large growth in our membership reflects the holistic mixture of trades, talents and backgrounds.
