It is a great joy to welcome new members and the October 2009 regular meeting was no exception. After the completion of a third degree (to become a Master Mason) the lodge was 'called off' for tea and then resumed to initiate new Bros Richard Scott-Copeland - a self-employed Professional Organist - and John Robert King, a part-time student at The University of Southampton.
We look forward to new members joining the Lodge - either by initiation or if already members becoming joining members from the 2010 cohort of undergraduate or graduate students. Additionally we welcome staff as their membership too in the Lodge is beginning to grow.

Peter and Maurice had met John in April 2009 following his application to join - via this web site - and were honoured to propose and second him. The Lodge especially wishes John well and may even see him as one of our first officers of Grand Lodge in the years to come! |
